My advice to those in school is: Don’t correlate intellect to a successful career in finance. I am searching about financing and come across to this hub.. These finance careers are getting tougher and tougher to find right now. Especially now when competition is fierce with a record number of graduates compete with each other in an increasingly limited job pool. I have a B in class, but it has been difficult for me (and I know my finance professor doesn’t think I would do well in the finance world). I really, really, really want to continue working towards my finance degree, but if there is a good chance I will not be good at it, I may as well get out now.
